Nagaland Covid-19 update: 63 new cases detected; tally at 8726

Dimapur, Oct. 27 (EMN): Nagaland recorded 63 new Covid-19 positive cases on Tuesday, taking the state’s tally to 8726.

This was informed by the minister for Health and Family Welfare, S Pangnyu Phom.

’63 positive cases of Covid-19 were detected today (Tuesday); Dimapur-36, Kohima-18, Mon-8 and Tuensang-1. Also, 35 positive patients have recovered; Dimapur-19, Kohima-15 and Mon-1,’ tweeted the minister.

According to information provided by the Health department, Nagaland has 1860 active Covid-19 cases, out of which 1764 are asymptomatic, 70 mild, 16 moderate on oxygen, four severe on oxygen, three critical on oxygen and another three critical on ventilator. The state has also recorded 6755 recoveries and 33 deaths, out which six are ‘not Covid-related’.

In regard to district-wise distribution of Covid-19 cases, Dimapur leads with 1364 cases, followed by Kohima-308, Mon-75, Mokokchung-49, Tuensang-21, Peren-19, Zunheboto-13, Kiphire-10 and Wokha-1, while Phek and Longleng have zero cases so far.
