Nagaland Covid-19 update: 60 new cases take state’s tally to 5604

Dimapur, Sep. 22 (EMN): Nagaland recorded 60 new Covid-19 cases on Tuesday, taking the state's tally to 5,604.

According to the minister for Health and Family Welfare, S Pangnyu Phom, 35 cases were from Dimapur, 22 from Kohima, two from Mon and one from Tuensang.

The state currently has 1072 active Covid-19 cases. So far, it has recorded 4491 recoveries and 10 deaths, out of which five have been declared as ‘not Covid-related’.

As per the segregated data of the cases, 2640 are security forces personnel; 1454 returnees; 1182 traced contacts; and 328 frontline workers.

Among the active cases, 1042 are asymptomatic, 28 display mild symptom, and two with moderate symptom.
