Dimapur, Nov. 25 (EMN): Nagaland’s Covid-19 caseload has increased to 10,991 with 60 more cases detected in the state on Wednesday.
The minister of Health and Family Welfare, S Pangnyu Phom, has informed that out 60 new Covid cases, 35 were in Dimapur, 21 in Kohima and two each in Mon and Peren. He went on to add that 66 patients had recovered: Dimapur-46, Kohima-19, and Zunheboto-1.
According to information provided by the Health department, the state currently has 1465 active Covid-19 cases, out of which 1389 are asymptomatic, 47 mild, 13 moderate on oxygen, four severe on oxygen, six critical (ICU) without oxygen, four critical (ICU) with oxygen, and two critical (ICU) on ventilator.
The state has also recorded 9357 recoveries and 61 deaths, out of which six have been ruled 'not Covid-related'.
In terms of district-wise distribution of active Covid cases, Dimapur leads with 786, followed by Kohima-433, Peren-163, Tuensang-46, Mon-32, Phek-7, and one each in Kiphire, Mokokchung and Zunheboto, while Longleng and Wokha have zero cases.
