Nagaland Covid-19 update: 55 new cases detected; tally stands at 9151

Dimapur, Nov. 3 (EMN): Nagaland recorded 55 new Covid-19 positive cases on Tuesday, taking the state’s tally to 9151.

This was informed by the minister for Health and Family Welfare, S Pangnyu Phom.

‘55 positive cases of Covid-19 were detected today (Tuesday); Dimapur-39, Kohima-13, Mon-2 and Peren-1. Also, 180 positive patients have recovered; Dimapur-162, Kohima and Mon 6 each, Kiphire and Peren 3 each,’ tweeted the minister.

According to information provided by the Health department, Nagaland has 1238 active Covid-19 cases, out of which 1171 are asymptomatic, 41 mild, 13 moderate on oxygen, six severe on oxygen and seven Critical-ICU.

The state has also recorded 7786 recoveries and 42 deaths, out which six are ‘not Covid-related’.

In regard to district-wise distribution of active Covid-19 cases, Dimapur leads with 855 cases, followed by Kohima-284, Mon-56, Mokokchung-15, Tuensang-11, Zunheboto-8, Peren-7, Kiphire-5, and Wokha-2, while Phek and Longleng  have zero cases so far.
