Nagaland Covid-19 update: 51 new cases detected; tally stands at 8945

Dimapur, Oct. 30 (EMN): Nagaland recorded 51 new Covid-19 positive cases on Friday, taking the state’s tally to 8945.
This was informed by the minister for Health and Family Welfare, S Pangnyu Phom.
‘51 positive cases of Covid-19 were detected today (Friday); Dimapur-32, Kohima-16, Mokokchung-2 and Tuensang-1. Also, 210 positive patients have recovered; Dimapur-144, Mokokchung-39, Kohima-13, Mon-8, Zunheboto-3, Peren-2 and Tuensang-1,’ tweeted the minister.
According to information provided by the Health department, Nagaland has 1596 active Covid-19 cases, out of which 1518 are asymptomatic, 57 mild, 16 moderate on oxygen, three severe on oxygen and two on ventilator.
The state has also recorded 7229 recoveries and 39 deaths, out which six are ‘not Covid-related’.
In regard to district-wise distribution of Covid-19 cases, Dimapur leads with 1208 cases, followed by Kohima-262, Mon-68, Mokokchung-14, Peren-12, Tuensang and Kiphire-11 each, Zunheboto-8 and Wokha-2, while Phek and Longleng have zero cases so far.
