Nagaland Covid-19 update: 45 new cases detected; tally at 11254
Dimapur, Dec. 2 (EMN): The Nagaland’s Covid-19 caseload has increased to 11,254 as 45 new cases were detected on Wednesday.
An update from the minister of Health and Family Welfare, S Pangnyu Phom, informed that out of the 45 new cases, 22 were in Dimapur, Tuensang-13, Kohima-9, and Kiphire-1. He added the state also recorded 164 recoveries; Dimapur-112, Kohima-35, Peren-12, and Mon-5.
According to information provided by the Health department, Nagaland currently has 720 active Covid cases, out of which 653 are asymptomatic, 40 mild, 17 moderate on oxygen, seven critical (ICU) with oxygen and three critical (ICU) on ventilator. The state has also recorded 10,358 recoveries and 64 deaths, out of which seven have been ruled ‘not Covid-related’.
In regard to state-wise distribution of active cases, Dimapur leads with 361, Kohima-278, Tuensang-34, Mon 25, Peren-19 and one each in Kiphire, Phek and Zunheboto, while Longleng, Mokokchung and Wokha currently have zero cases.
