Dimapur, Sep. 25 (EMN): Nagaland recorded 38 new Covid-19 positive cases on Friday taking the state's tally to 5768.
This was informed by the minister of Health and Family Welfare S Pangnyu Phom.
“Out of 596 results received 38 positive cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed. 24 in Dimapur, 12 in Kohima, 1 in each Mon and Wokha.
Also, State reports 95 recoveries of Covid-19 patients.
56 from Kohima, 34 from Dimapur, 3 from Peren and 2 from Kiphire,” the minister tweeted.
According to the information provided by the Health department till the time of filing this report, the state has active 1031 Covid-19 cases, 4693 recoveries, and 11 deaths.
In regard to district-wise distribution of Covid-19 cases, Dimapur leads with 721, followed by Kohima with 253, Mokokchung 17, Mon 14, Zunheboto six, Tuensang four and one each in Peren, Wokha and Phek while Kiphire and Longleng has no cases of Covid-19 so far.
