Nagaland Covid-19 update: 31 new cases detected; tally stands at 11091

Dimapur, Nov. 27 (EMN): Nagaland’s Covid-19 caseload increased to 11,091 as 31 new cases were detected on Friday.

According to the minister of Health and Family Welfare, S Pangnyu Phom, 31 Covid-positive cases have been recorded- Dimapur-14, Kohima-12, Peren-3, and one each in Mon and Tuensang. He added that 211 patients have recovered: Kohima-125, Dimapur-84, and one each in Mon and Phek.

According to information provided by the Health department, Nagaland currently has 1219 active Covid-19 cases, out of which 1141 are asymptomatic, 58 mild, 13 moderate on oxygen and 7 on Critical-ICU. The state has also recorded 9699 recoveries and 64 deaths, out which seven are ‘not Covid-related’.

In regard to district-wise distribution of active Covid-19 cases, Dimapur leads with 647 cases, followed by Kohima-328, Peren-164, Tuensang-41, Mon-33, Phek-3, and one each in Zunheboto,  Kiphire and Mokokchung, while Wokha and Longleng have zero cases.
