Nagaland Covid-19 update: 25 new Covid-19 positive cases detected

Dimapur, Aug. 20 (EMN): Nagaland recorded 25 new Covid-19 cases on Thursday taking the state’s tally to 3583

This was informed by the minister of Health and Family Welfare, S Pangnyu Phom.

“25 new positive cases of Covid-19 have been detected out of 827samples tested.15 in  Dimapur, 9 in Kohima and 1 in Mon. Also State reports 215 recoveries of Covid-19 posotive patients,” the minister tweeted.

According to the information provided by the Health department till the time of filing this report, the state has 1648 active Covid-19 cases,1921 recoveries and eight deaths.

In regard to district-wise distribution of Covid-19 cases, Dimapur leads with 1085 active cases, followed by Kohima – 614 Mon –73, Peren -14, Mokokchung- 2 and Zunheboto- 65, Wokha –3, Tuensang-3, 1 in Kiphire and Longleng and Phek has zero cases so far.
