Dimapur, Sep. 8 (EMN): Nagaland recorded 25 new Covid-19 cases on Tuesday, taking the state’s tally to 4245.
The minister for Health and Family Welfare, S Pangnyu Phom, updated that out of the 25 new cases, 21 cases were from Kohima, two from Mon, and one each from Mokokchung and Kiphire.
According to information provided by the Health department till the time of filing this report, the state has 550 active Covid-19 cases, 3674 recoveries and eight deaths.
In regard to district-wise distribution of Covid-19 cases, Dimapur leads with 238 active cases, followed by Kohima-221, Mon-32, Tuensang-16, Kiphire-11, Mokokchung-10, Zunheboto-7, Phek-2, Wokha-1. Peren and Longleng have zero cases so far.
