Dimapur, Dec. 1 (EMN): Nagaland recorded 23 new Covid-19 positive cases on Tuesday, taking the state’s tally to 11, 209.
This was informed by the minister for Health and Family Welfare, S Pangnyu Phom.
‘23 positive cases of Covid-19 were detected today (Tuesday); Dimapur-108, and one each in Kiphire and Peren. Also, 108 positive patients have recovered; Dimapur-106, and one each in Kiphire and Peren,’ tweeted the minister.
According to information provided by the Health department, Nagaland currently has 840 active Covid-19 cases, out of which 767 are asymptomatic, 47 mild, 15 moderate on oxygen and 11 critical in ICU. The state has also recorded 10,194 recoveries and 64 deaths, out which seven are ‘not Covid-related’. In regard to district-wise distribution of active Covid-19 cases in Nagaland, Dimapur leads with 452 cases, followed by Kohima-304, Mon-30, Peren-31, Tuensang-21, and one each in Phek and Zunheboto, while Mokokchung, Wokha and Longleng have zero cases so far.
