Nagaland Covid-19 update: 21 new positive cases on Saturday

Dimapur, Sept. 5 (EMN): Nagaland recorded 21 new Covid-19 positive cases on Saturday taking the state’s tally to 4128.

This was informed by the Nagaland minister for Health and Family Welfare, S Pangnyu Phom, on social media.

“21 cases of Covid-19, out of 480 samples received. 8 each in Dimapur and Kohima, 4 in Mon and 1 in Mokokchung. All contact tracing have been activated by our IDSP team and all primary contacts are being kept under self isolation,” the minister tweeted.

According to the information provided by the Health department till the time of filing this report, the state has 757 active Covid-19 cases, 3351 recoveries, and eight deaths.

In regard to Covid-19 cases in the districts, Dimapur leads with 328 active cases, followed by Kohima with 315, Mon  54, Tuensang 20, Kiphire 10, Mokokchung 10, Zunheboto seven, Wokha three, Peren two, and two in Phek, and Longleng with 0 cases so far.
