Nagaland Covid-19 update: 19 new cases detected

Dimapur, Sep. 13 (EMN):
Nagaland recorded 19 new Covid-19 cases on Sunday, taking the state’s tally to 5083.

 “19 new cases of Covid-19 have been detected out of 563 sample received. 16 in Dimapur, 2 in Mokokchung and 1in Kohima,’’ the minister for Health and Family Welfare, S Pangnyu Phom, tweeted.

‘Also, state reports 61 recoveries of Covid-19 patients. 24 in Kohima, 23 Dimapur, 13 in Tuensang and one in Wokha,’ he added.

According to information provided by the Health department till the time of filing this report, the state has 1172 active Covid-19 cases, 3833 recoveries and eight deaths.

In regard to district-wise distribution of Covid-19 cases, Dimapur leads with 717 active cases, followed by Kohima with 84, Mon has 23, Tuensang has three, Kiphire has 11, Mokokchung has 16, Zunheboto has four, Phek and Wokha have one each, Peren has three and only Longleng has zero cases so far.
