Dimapur, Oct. 22 (EMN): Nagaland recorded 157 new Covid-19 positive cases on Thursday, taking the state’s tally to 8296.
This was informed by the minister for Health and Family Welfare, S Pangnyu Phom.
’157 positive cases of Covid-19 were detected today (Thursday); Dimapur-119, Kohima-30, Peren-3, Mokokchung and Kiphire two each and Mon-1. Also, 39 positive patients have recovered; Dimapur-22, Peren-10 and Kohima-7,’ tweeted the minister.
According to information provided by the Health department, Nagaland has 1798 active Covid-19 cases, out of which 1716 are asymptomatic, 60 mild, 15 moderate, four severe on oxygen and three on ventilators. The state has also recorded 6399 recoveries and 28 deaths, out which six are ‘not Covid-related’.
In regard to district-wise distribution of Covid-19 cases, Dimapur leads with 1310 cases, followed by Kohima-321, Mokokchung-59, Mon-55, Peren-21,Tuensang-19, Zunheboto-7, and three each in Longleng and Kiphire, while Wokha and Phek have zero cases so far.
