Nagaland Covid-19 update: 130 new cases detected

Dimapur, Sep. 9 (EMN): Nagaland recorded 130 new Covid-19 cases on Wednesday, taking the state's tally to 4,375.

This was informed by the minister of Health and Family Welfare, S Pangnyu Phom.

“130 new cases of Covid-19 out of 710 results received. 64 in Kohima, 63 in Dimapur, 2 in Mon and 1 in Mokokchung. Contact tracing have been fully activated by our IDSP team,” the minister tweeted.

According to the information provided by the Health department till the time of filing this report, the state has 626 active Covid-19 cases, 3728 recoveries and eight deaths.

In regard to district-wise distribution of Covid-19 cases, Dimapur and Kohima lead with 250 active cases each, followed by Mon-34, Tuensang-16, 11 each in Kiphire and Mokokchung, Zunheboto-7, Phek-2, and Wokha-1. Peren and Longleng districts are currently corinavirus-free.
