Nagaland Covid-19 update: 118 new cases; tally at 7816

Dimapur, Oct. 18 (EMN):
Another high spike in Covid-19 cases was reported on Sunday with the detection of 118 fresh cases, taking the tally in Nagaland to 7816.

Out of the 118 new cases, 69 were traced contacts, 41 security forces personnel, and four each returnees and frontline workers.

According to Health department data, the total number of active cases in the state is 1582. So far, Nagaland has recorded 6141 recoveries and 27 deaths, out of which six have been declared ‘not Covid-related’.

As per the segregation of total cases, 3477 are security forces personnel, 2353 traced contacts, 1601 returnees and 385 frontline workers.
