Nagaland Covid-19 update: 11 new cases detected; tally rises to 5957

Dimapur, Sep. 28 (EMN): Nagaland recorded 11 new Covid-19 cases on Monday, taking the state’s tally to 5957.

This was informed by the minister of Health and Family Welfare, S Pangnyu Phom.

‘Nagaland has reported 11 new Covid-19 positive cases – six in Kohima, four in Tuensang and one in Dimapur. The state also witnessed 47 recoveries -- 45 from Kohima and two from Dimapur,’ the minister tweeted.

According to the information provided by the Health department till the time of filing this report, the state has active 1053 Covid-19 cases, 4895 recoveries and 11 deaths.

In regard to district-wise distribution of active Covid-19 cases, Dimapur leads with 703 followed by Kohima-239, Mokokchung-12, Mon-15, Zunheboto-6, Tuensang-6, Phek-2 and one each in Peren, Longleng and Wokha, while Kiphire has zero case of Covid-19 so far.
