Dimapur, July 26 (EMN): The number of positive cases continues to rise as 50 more Covid-19 positive cases were reported on Sunday, taking the tally to 1339 in the state.

This was informed by the minister of Health, S Pangnyu Phom, through a social media update on Sunday afternoon.

“50 new cases of Covid-19 have been detected out of 328 test results received.

It may be mentioned that Nagaland recorded its first Covid-19 positive cases on May 25 when three returnees tested positive for the virus.

The state breached the 1000-mark positive cases on July 20 as 33 more Covid-19 positive cases were reported, taking the tally to 1021 on July 20.
