Nagaland Congress chief thanks public and officials for success of Rahul Gandhi-led Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra

DIMAPUR — President of Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee (NPCC), S Supongmeren Jamir has expressed gratitude to the people of Nagaland for the success of the recent Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra in the state, which was spearheaded Rahul Gandhi, AICC general secretary K. C Venugopal and Jai Ram Ramesh, general secretary in-charge of media and communication, A1CC.

In a press release, the state Congress chief thanked “the Naga civil societies, non-governmental organisations, church leaders, village councils, various political parties, district administration, and security personnel for their commitment and active involvement in the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra”.

He lauded the NPCC’s working president Khriedi Theunuo, the unit’s officials, DCCs, ACCCs frontals, cells and departments; and AICC officials, including Girish Chodankar and Ranajeet Mukherjee, Secretary AICC in-charge of Nagaland, for their support.

He went on to acknowledge the exceptional contributions of its convenor for the Nagaland leg of the yatra, Captain G. K Zhimomi and his team for flawlessly executing their responsibilities throughout the yatra.

“Once again, I extend my sincere gratitude to every individual, specially the youths involved in making the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra a resounding success in Nagaland. May God bestow upon you an abundance of love, life, and laughter as you continue to champion the cause of justice in our society,” read the press release.
