Neiphiu Rio and deputy chief ministers meet Amit Shah, discussing peace, development and welfare issues concerning Nagaland

DIMAPUR — Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio and Deputy Chief Ministers TR Zeliang and Yanthungo Patton called on Union Home Minister Amit Shah in New Delhi on Wednesday and discussed matters relating to peace and the welfare of Nagaland.
Sharing details of the meeting on social media, Rio said the delegation discussed issues concerning peace and the well-being of the state and expressed gratitude for Shah’s “continued support, guidance, and commitment” towards Nagaland.
Deputy Chief Minister Yanthungo Patton, in a separate post, said the delegation was grateful for the Union Home Minister’s time and his continued concern and attention towards the welfare and aspirations of the people of Nagaland.
Patton stated that such engagements strengthen cooperation and mutual understanding between the Centre and the state, enabling both sides to work together for the progress, peace and well-being of the people.
