Nagaland Chess Association resumes membership drive for 2026–27, urging players and enthusiasts to register and update records across state.

DIMAPUR — The Nagaland Chess Association (NCA) has announced resumption of its annual membership fee collection for the 2026–27 financial year, calling on players, enthusiasts and supporters to renew their registration.
In a press release, the association informed that the membership drive has commenced this month and will remain valid till March 31, 2027. The annual fee has been fixed at INR 300 per person, in accordance with provisions of the NCA constitution.
The exercise aims to update the association’s membership database and maintain proper records, which officials said had remained incomplete in recent years.

The NCA stated that membership is open to any individual residing in Nagaland. Interested persons have been asked to deposit the fee in the association’s designated bank account and submit proof of payment for confirmation and enrolment.
The association has urged all chess players and well-wishers across the state to cooperate with the process and ensure timely renewal of their membership.
