Dimapur, Sep. 27 (EMN): Chakhesang Public Organisation (CPO) has extended support to the Public Action Committee (PAC) of the Dimapur Naga Council (NCD) for undertaking the mission ‘Operation check gate’ to end all forms of illegal collections and insisted that such activities must be brought to a halt. A CPO press release issued by its president, Mikha Kenye, and general secretary, Veduvo Rhakho, hoped that the state government would listen and fulfil to the demand made by PAC. Reaffirming the resolution Nos. 3 and 4 as approved on June 29, 2019, in its extended executive meeting, CPO asserted its commitment that the two lane project in Phek district should be completed at any cost within a stipulated period. Meanwhile, CPO has appreciated the magnanimous decision taken by the Thenyizumi village in lifting the ban for posterity and development. It has assured to extend every assistance in pursuing the rightful claims of the genuine victims and to maintain cooperation with all the agencies.
