Nagaland Cabinet to discuss job reservation issue today

Dimapur, Dec. 17 (EMN): The Core Committee on Rationalisation of Reservation Policy (CCoRoRP) on Thursday informed that Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio has ‘fundamentally agreed’ to discuss the committee’s demands, in connection with job reservation, with his Cabinet on December 18.

The committee had earlier served a 72-hour ultimatum to the chief minister.

In a press release, the committee has informed its five units and volunteers “to stand down until the outcome of the cabinet meeting”. It added that the outcome of the meeting will determine the committee’s future course of action.
