Nagaland Bye-election: The candidates and their assets as per affidavits

Kohima, Oct. 19 (EMN): The moveable and immovable assets of the eight candidates according to their affidavits filed at the office of chief electoral officer in Kohima are mentioned below.
The movable assets included cash-in-hand, bank accounts, personal loans, investments, motor vehicles, valuable things etc.
Agricultural land, non-agricultural land, commercial buildings, residential complex etc., are included in the immovable assets category.
None of the eight candidates have crime records or court cases against their names.
Medo Yhokha: The 43-year-old NDPP candidate is an entrepreneur by profession hailing from Kigwema village in Kohima district. He did his Master of Arts (History) at NEHU, Shillong, Meghalaya (2001).
Kikovi Kirha: The NPF candidate Kirha is 51 years old. He is a businessman. He studied Master of Business Administration at Newport University, United States of America (1999). Kirha is from Jakhama.
Seyievilie Peter Zashumo: The 42-year-old and only Independent candidate for 14-Southern Angami-I A/C hails from Merama Khel Phesama (Lower). Zashumo has a degree in Master of Arts (Sociology) and retired as a co-operative education instructor under National Cooperative Union of India.
S Kiusumew Yimchunger: The Independent candidate is a resident of Moya village in Kiphire district. He is 60 years old and the oldest candidate. He studied till Class 9 at Government High School, Kiphire in 1979.
T Yangseo Sangtam: Sangtam is from Kiphire village. He is 39 years old and is one of the youngest candidates. He is a politician by profession. He studied Bachelor of Arts in Kohima College, under Nagaland University, 2005.
Lirimong Sangtam: The 39-year-old BJP candidate is a politician and holds a Bachelor of Arts (General) degree from Patkai Christian College, Nagaland University (2004). He is from Singrep village in district Kiphire.
Khaseo Anar: Anar is the NPCC candidate for Pungro-Kiphire assembly constituency. He is a social worker and politician by profession. The 44-year-old candidate is from Seyochung village. He cleared class 10 in 1993 from Government Higher Secondary School Tuensang.
K Shellumthong Yimchunger: The Independent candidate hails from Pungro town in Kiphire district. He is 54 years old and is a government servant (voluntary retired). He is a matriculate from Government High School, Kohima, 1984.
