Dimapur — The Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE) has advised unauthorised private agencies that are operating as intermediaries for applicants of Board documents to immediately stop such practices.
Stating that it had recently discovered an unauthorised private agency engaged in the practice without its knowledge, and reportedly charging an exorbitant fee from the applicants before sending the application forms to the Board, the NBSE said it “unacceptable” as it has the potential to tarnish its good image as well as poses a risk to the applicants.
“Applicants who apply for documents through such agencies will be doing so at their own risk, as such applications may be summarily rejected by the Board.
Applicants have, therefore, been advised to desist from seeking help from such agencies and apply directly to the Board’s office,” read the press release issued by the DIPR.
It went on to inform that “duplicate documents can be applied for in person and Migration Certificate may be applied for in person or through email at nbsedup@gmail.com with proper postal address”.
