Nagaland BJP, Patton condole Yashipokla’s demise

Dimapur, July 8 (EMN): Nagaland Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has condoled the demise of Yashipokla Longkumar, wife of BJP national vice president Dr. Chuba Ao, who passed away on July 8.

Nagaland BJP media cell stated that its officials led by the president, Temjen Imna Along; national spokesperson, Nalin Kohli; general secretary (Org) and in-charge of Nagaland and Manipur, Abhay Giriji; national secretary Arvind Menon, who was in the state for official tour programme, and hosts of other party leaders paid their last respect to the departed soul.

In his message, Temjen Imna Along described Yashipokla Longkumar as a God-fearing woman, a noble and kind hearted soul, a woman who was always clothed with strength and dignity. He also mentioned that she was not only a good wife, but a great mother who raised up her children to be fine men and women added that her legacy would live on and inspire many more lives.

The funeral service was held at their private residence in Chümoukedima town.

Meanwhile, the deputy chief minister, Y Patton, has described Yashipokla Longkumer, as a pillar of strength to her husband and a guide to her dear and near ones. Patton lamented that in her demise, the party has lost a close family member whose absence would be felt dearly.

He further conveyed condolences to the bereaved family members and prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace.
