Nagaland: BJP Mokokchung organises ‘Morcha Interface’
Dimapur, Aug. 25 (EMN): Against the backdrop of BJP national general secretary (Org.), BL Santosh’s tour programme in Nagaland, the BJP Mokokchung district organised a massive ‘Morcha Interface’ in preparation for the 2023 assembly election.
Media and IT Cell of BJP Mokokchung district informed that the district vice president, I Lanutoshi Longkumer, as main speaker of the programme, said that the visit of the BJP national general secretary was a testament of how the BJP central leadership is giving importance to the Naga people.
He asserted that Naga people should make most of the opportune time provided through the astute political leadership of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi; Home Minister, Amit Shah; Nagaland state unit president, Temjen Imna Along; and deputy chief minister, Y Patton.
President of ST morcha, Oyimpong Longchar, while enlightening about Morcha Interface, said the programme was organized as directed by BJP district president as a thanksgiving to God for leading the party thus far.
“At exactly 12 noon, a mass prayer for the BJP Nagaland was held invoking God Almighty blessing on the national, state, district and mandal leaders,” it stated.
The president of Kisan morcha, Tiayanger Jamir, said such interaction among the morchas, guided by the district office, was much needed for better cohesion, cooperation and mobilisation of working force at the grass root level.
The general secretary of 26 Aonglenden mandal, Kilemsungba Longkumer, also spoke on the occasion.
