Nagaland BJP celebrates Modi’s birthday

Dimapur, Sep. 19 (EMN): The Nagaland unit of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) celebrated the 68th birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi on September 17. A statement from the party on Tuesday informed celebrations were held at various places in the state, ‘Celebration at the state head office in Kohima was organised by Mahilla Morcha with Peter Rutsa, state vice president speaking on the life of Modi. After the programme, the party officials headed by organising secretary Nagaland in-charge, Ananta Narayan Mishra visited Kohima Orphanage and Destitute Home,’ it informed. In Dimapur, the party’s Yuva Morcha celebrated the occasion at the Mother Teresa Orphanage Home and a short programme was organised at the party’s district office, according to the statement.
