Nagaland Governor urges students to dream big and stay focused
DIMAPUR — A total of 40 meritorious HSLC and HSSLC students from the Bhojpuri community were felicitated by the Nagaland Bhojpuri Samaj (NBS) at a programme held at Durga Mandir Hall, Dimapur, on Sunday.
Speaking as the special guest, Nagaland Governor Nand Kishore Yadav congratulated the Nagaland Bhojpuri Samaj for organising the event and encouraging academic excellence among the youth.
The governor said the students’ achievements were the result of hard work, discipline, and the constant support of parents and teachers.

“This accomplishment is not only a matter of personal pride but also a proud moment for the entire community,” he said.
Stating that education is the foundation of progress and character-building, Yadav encouraged the students to continue learning with dedication, humility, and determination.
He also urged them to dream big, remain focused, and strive to become responsible citizens who contribute positively to society and the nation.
The governor further said that the Bhojpuri community has made valuable contributions to the social and cultural life of Nagaland.
A short speech was also delivered by BJP state treasurer Kamal Jain, who attended the programme as guest of honour.
Earlier, the welcome address was delivered by NBS president Rajeev Singh.
