Nagaland beat Sikkim in U-15 Inter State Cricket

In the opening match of the ongoing U-25 Interstate One Day Cricket tournament hosted by NCA at Dimapur, the home team, Nagaland defeated Sikkim (U-25) team by 57 runs.
Imliwati Lemtur, the captain of Nagaland (U-25) team, won the toss and decided to bat first, but lost opener Bittu Shekawat in second over of the match. Sedezalie Rupereo with a score of 33 runs (72 balls) and Oren Nugullie with 16 runs (27 balls) recovered and put on 53 runs for the second wicket. Captain Imtiwati 29 (38) and Birju Nady 23 (30) also put useful runs for Nagaland, but Nagaland team were out for 182 in 45.1 overs against Sikkim. Subam took 3 wickets for 20 runs for Sikkim.
Sikkim also started badly by loosing the wicket of Ketan in the very first over and another two wickets at the score of 34 runs on board. But, a very destructive spell by young Nagaland off spinner Tahmeed Rahman, 6 wickets for 29 runs destroyed the strong batting lineup of the Sikkim team and were all out for 125 in 31 overs.
For Sikkim Ashish Thapa top scored with 30 runs. (26 balls).
