Dimapur, Oct. 28 (EMN): In the second match of the ongoing Vijay Merchant (U-16) three-day match from Oct. 21-23, Nagaland defeated Sikkim by an inning and 45 runs. Earlier, in the first match, Nagaland defeated Arunachal Pradesh at Bongaigaon in Assam. Nagaland: 1st innings—255 runs all out Arjun-110 runs, Yash-50 runs For Sikkim, Zakir took 6 wickets, Tarun and Sunil 2 wickets each. Sikkim: 1st innings: 82 all out in 52.1 overs Zakir-40 runs, Adiv-19 runs For Nagaland, Odilemba took 5 wickets, Ranjen-4 wickets Sikkim (2nd innings)—128 all out in 57.1 overs Zakir-28 runs, Vivek-23 runs and Tarun-18 runs For Nagaland, Ezaz took 2 wickets while Ranjen and Yash took 3 wickets each. Nagaland will next play against Mizoram at Golaghat (Assam)
