Dimapur, Sep. 15 (EMN): Mokokchung battalion of Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR (N) facilitated Pongu, Hukpong, Namching, Phomching, Mongtikong, Yongshei, Yongam, Nian, Bhumnyu and Dongkhao villages with 122 LED street lights, an update informed on Tuesday.

‘The street lights will ameliorate the living condition of the villagers affected by erratic supply of electricity and constant power cut,’ it read.

Jalukie Battalion of Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR (N) also provided medical assistance and distribution of masks, hand sanitiser and other basic essential commodities to Zeliangrong Hareka School in Tening.
