In the ongoing Under-23 Inter-State T-20 Cup, Nagaland tied with Upper Assam and Arunachal Pradesh defeated Sikkim to enter the finals. In the first match of the day, Upper Assam were bundled out for 83 in 17.4 over after a sudden collapse as the openers put on a partnership of 47 runs. Nagland started well, but in a dramatic turn of events, three batsmen were run out in three consecutive balls. Efforts to reorganize the inning by Kresavito (11) and Tahmeed (22) could not fully recover and Nagaland were eventually all out at the same score of 83 in 20 overs and the match ended in a tie.
