Dimapur, July 4 (EMN): A month after the first Shramik special train arrived from Bengaluru to Dimapur with 1477 passengers, another special train is scheduled to travel the same route carrying stranded citizens of Nagaland.

Speaking to Eastern Mirror, the convener of Naga Task Force Bengaluru (NTFB), Mughato Kiba, informed that the list of passengers is yet to be finalised but around 500-600 citizens of Nagaland are expected to board the train from Bengaluru on July 6.

“The final list of passengers is in process (sic) and passengers might be picked up from other states along the way,” informed Kiba.

He further informed that since a large number of people have returned to Nagaland, the request for food relief has also decreased.

“We are providing ration to whoever reaches out to us (NTFB),” Kiba said, adding that the task force will be dismantled after the second train leaves Bengaluru.
