Nagaland recorded a 99.07% grievance pendency rate, ranking among the worst-performing states on the Centre's CPGRAMS portal
KOHIMA — Nagaland has recorded one of the country's highest rates of pending public grievances, with 99.07% of complaints remaining unresolved on the Centre's Centralised Public Grievance Redress and Monitoring System (CPGRAMS) as of June 30, 2026.
According to the 47th CPGRAMS Report for States and Union Territories, released on Wednesday by the Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances (DARPG) under the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, Nagaland ranked 22nd among 23 states and Union territories with more than 1,000 pending grievances.
Among the north-eastern states, Nagaland recorded the second-highest pendency rate after Manipur, which reported 99.12%.

The report stated that Nagaland carried forward 1,321 grievances and received 76 fresh complaints during the period, taking the total to 1,397 grievances. Of these, only 13 grievances were disposed of, leaving 1,384 cases pending by the end of June.
Overall, 23 states and Union territories had more than 1,000 pending grievances as of June 30.
Nationwide, 96,190 public grievance cases were received through CPGRAMS in June 2026, while 93,170 cases were redressed. Uttar Pradesh recorded the highest number of disposals with 31,460 cases, followed by Maharashtra (7,619) and Haryana (7,183).
CPGRAMS is the Centre's online platform that enables citizens to lodge and track complaints against government departments and public authorities.
