Nagaland: After Mon, firing incident in Noklak

Our Reporter Dimapur, Oct. 21 (EMN): A day after the crossfire between personnel of 40 Assam Rifles and unidentified gunmen at Chenloisho village in Mon district, another round of firing was reported in Noklak district on Monday. At around 2 am on Monday, gunmen allegedly belonging to NSCN (K) fired indiscriminately at the 45 Assam Rifles camp at the International Trade Centre (ITC) Pangsha in Noklak district. According to information provided by the president of Khiamniungan Students' Union, the gunmen supposedly fired from a distance at the AR camp from the international border. It was reported that around 7-10 empty shells of AK-47 were recovered from the ITC ground. No casualty or injury was reported.
