Nagaland a ‘beautiful unexplored tourist destination’

Rakesh Kumar, president of Reliance Industries Limited, Mumbai along with his associates arrived Dimapur to witness the closing of the ongoing Hornbill Festival at Kisama Village.
Rakesh Kumar, who has heard and read stories about Hornbill Festival through social media and travel articles, arrived to experience the festival for the first time in response to an invite from the people of Jakhama.
Interacting briefly with Eastern Mirror at Niathu Resort, Rekesh Kumar and his associate Vikas Pant (lawyer) said they were touched by the warmth they were accorded on their arrival.
Rakesh Kumar described Nagaland as a ‘beautiful unexplored tourist destination’ and that the misconception of Nagaland not being a tourist friendly destination needs to undergo change. Kumar also remarked that contrary to security fears, the environment is peaceful and said what the State requires is more visual publicity focusing nature and culture of Nagaland.
The visitors will return to Mumbai on December 13.
