Dimapur, Oct. 9 (EMN): Nagaland recorded 152 new Covid-19 cases on Friday, taking the state’s tally to 6888.
This was informed by the minister for Health and Family Welfare, S Pangnyu Phom.
“152 positive cases of Covid-19 detected today. Dimapur-133, Kohima-15, Peren Mon, Longleng and Mokokchung 1 each,” tweeted the minister.
According to information provided by the Health department till the time of filing this report, the state has 1209 active Covid-19 cases, out of which 1157 are asymptomatic, 40 mild, nine moderate, one severe, and two on ventilators. The state has also recorded 5602 recoveries and 17 deaths, out of which five have been declared “not Covid-related”.
In regard to district-wise distribution of Covid-19 cases, Dimapur leads with 799, followed by Kohima-279, Mon-82, Tuensang-22, 12 each in Mokokchung and Peren, Longleng-2 and Phek-1, while Wokha, Zunheboto and Kiphire have zero case so far.
