DIMAPUR — NagaEd, a pioneering digital education startup led by founder Kevisato Sanyu, was named a TiE50 Award winner at the annual TiECon global conference held in California, USA. Besides, NagaEd also received acclaim at the TiE50 Awards as one of just 8 startups to receive the Judges’ Choice Award.
An update from NagaEd informed that the recognition places NagaEd among the Top 50 tech and tech-enabled startups worldwide, acknowledging its impactful use of digital education to empower tribal and indigenous communities.
Organised by TiE Silicon Valley, the TiE50 Awards are a premier annual event celebrating the most promising technology startups. Notably, 85% of its winners and finalists secure over a billion dollars in funding, demonstrating the programme’s impressive track record.
“Companies from diverse continents, a wide range of verticals and in various stages of traction submitted their applications to our prestigious TiE50 Awards, showcasing innovation and disruption. TiE50 winners should be proud of their achievements as selections were made based on many competitive factors. Winners also pitched as part of the TiE50 showcase with feedback from investor judges” said Kumar Sripadam, co-chair.
It mentioned that NagaEd’s achievement at TiEcon 2024, one of the world’s largest gatherings for entrepreneurs, marked a significant milestone in its journey. As a B2B SaaS company, NagaEd is poised to capture the northeast market of nearly 100,00 schools representing over 11 million students with a long-term vision to transform education for the 500 million tribal and indigenous peoples worldwide.
