NagaEd unveiled Livi AI, the region’s first AI-powered teacher deployed on Whatsapp.

DIMAPUR — NagaEd, a leader in digital education, has unveiled Livi AI, the region’s first AI-powered teacher deployed on Whatsapp, positioning Northeast India at the forefront of education technology.

According to an update, Livi AI delivers cutting-edge, curriculum-aligned education to students in both urban and remote areas, addressing the need for specialised science and mathematics instruction in a way that meets the highest educational standards.

Raising the bar for education access, Livi AI is designed to elevate the quality of education for students by providing world-class instruction, regardless of location.

By making advanced digital resources accessible on a widely used platform like WhatsApp, NagaEd ensures that students from even the most remote areas can receive the same high-quality education as those in top urban centres.

“Livi AI represents a leap forward in education technology, ensuring that every student — no matter where they are — can access learning experience that rivals the best institutions globally,” said Kevisato Sanyu, founder of NagaEd.

This week, Livi AI will be introduced to partner schools, including Northfield School, EL-Shaddai Academy, Rev. Dr. Neiliezhü Usou Memorial School and Eden Academy, marking a significant step in NagaEd’s mission to align with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, it stated.

Fully integrated with NCERT and local school curricula, Livi AI supports NEP’s vision by offering real-time, personalised guidance on complex science and math topics. This interactive, user-friendly platform enables students to explore these subjects in depth, enhancing engagement and understanding in line with NEP’s focus on competency-based learning and critical thinking.

With Livi AI, NagaEd is bringing advanced, curriculum-aligned education technology to schools, fostering an enriched learning environment that empowers both students and teachers.

Revolutionising education delivery with advanced technology access to consistent, high-quality education in subjects such as mathematics and science has long been a challenge in various parts of the region. Livi AI bridges this gap by providing not just lessons, but also interactive quizzes, performance tracking, and personalized feedback, all accessible through any basic smartphone. This allows students to engage with educational content that mirrors international standards, ensuring they remain competitive in the global academic landscape.

“With this initiative, we are enhancing the capabilities of leading schools to provide the best digital education experience possible,” Sanyu added. This approach enables educators to monitor student progress efficiently, ensuring a secure and optimised learning environment.

Impact of AI on jobs and the future of education

The introduction of Livi AI by NagaEd is not merely an advancement in education but a reflection of the broader global transformation wrought by artificial intelligence.

“As AI reshapes industries across the board, the education sector is no exception. Tools like Livi AI are crucial in preparing students from rural and remote regions for a future workforce that AI-driven solutions will increasingly dominate.

“By embedding AI into the learning process, NagaEd is ensuring these students develop essential digital literacy and problem-solving skills, positioning them to thrive in a rapidly evolving job market,” the update informed.

This initiative aligns with the growing demand for AI fluency and underscores a fundamental shift in how education can bridge the gap between rural isolation and global competitiveness, it added.
