A 22-year-old Naga woman from Luthur village in Kiphire district was found dead in Chikkamagaluru, Karnataka, with police launching an investigation into the case.

DIMAPUR — A 22-year-old Naga woman, identified as Linsula from Luthur village in Kiphire district, was found dead under suspicious circumstances at her residence in Aravindnagar, Chikkamagaluru city in Karnataka on March 22.
Speaking to Eastern Mirror, Chemkha, president of Eastern Nagaland Students’ Union Bengaluru (ENSUB), said that the body was discovered hanging at her residence at around 7 pm. He added that the deceased had been working at a resort.
According to reports, she had spoken to a person identified as Kivishe Kinimi for about half an hour prior to the incident. It was also reported that she had mentioned the names of Rajesh and Tejas in her diary.
Lashila ‘Inchugar’, reportedly connected to Linsula, lodged a complaint at Basavanahalli police station alleging that the two had been harassing her. Police have since visited the spot and initiated an investigation.
Reports further stated that the victim had recorded instances of physical and mental harassment in her diary, allegedly by the two individuals under the pretext of a relationship.
Meanwhile, Chemkha informed that the body was sent to Nagaland by flight on Wednesday morning after completion of formalities, and was expected to arrive in Dimapur around 3 pm.
