Naga taekwondo team shines at national arena

Dimapur, May 1 (EMN): Dimapur District Taekwondo team representing Nagaland State Taekwondo won 9 medals in the 3rd Goodwill National Taekwondo Championship 2018 held from April 28 t0 30 at Sivasagar, Assam.
The championship is organised by Amguri Taekwondo Academy sivsagar; assam held at Amguri College indoor hall, Amguri where the team secured 4 gold,1 silver and 4 bronze medal in the sparring competition.
The gold medal winners were Albert Ezung, Ram Bahadur, Kiran Shankar, Noknyei Konyak. H.Vikupu Yeptho won a silver medal. Bicky Prasad,Jotish Mech,Rana Ramchiary, Lijamo Lotha were the bronze medallists .
The team was led by National Games silver medalist and national referee Master Heoshe Yeptho, team manager Anirudra Pandey and coach and national player Tapan Deb Kanungoe.
