DIMAPUR — The Naga Shisha Hoho has issued a clarification regarding the recently published local media report on the election of new office bearers.
In a press release, pastor Vezokho Vero clarified that the information, referencing a prayer programme and election of office bearers, pertains to an event from 2003.
“Since that time, there has not been a subsequent election or reaffirmation of the old office bearers,” the release stated.
“Furthermore, in the listed office bearers, Joint Secy- Hokuto Chishi, has died in February 15, 2023 and Rev. DN Soho, who was purported to have exhorted the new team, has died in July 2014, and as such, should not be included as office bearers or the participant of recent programme,” it added.
It went on to state that, “there was no election or reaffirmation of office bearers, instead, the Shisha Hoho has continued its functioning through the guidance of God’s revelation conveyed through prophets and prophetess, and through divine revelation, individuals have been entrusted with responsibilities to oversee the Shisha Hoho programmes, ensuring its continuity and adherence to its purpose and principles.”
