Naga missionaries’ summit held in Bangkok

Dimapur, Sep. 14 (EMN): The first overseas Naga missionaries’ summit was held at Bangkok, Thailand from Sep. 7 to 9th, under the theme “Come, Let us Reason Together, the event was organised by the Nagaland Missions Movement (NMM). The speakers of the summit were Rev. Dr. Kethozelhou Keyho, general secretary of the Nagaland Baptist Church Council; Rev. Sonny Largado, international director of the Ethnos Asia; and Dr. Prawate Khid-arn, assistant general secretary to Ecumenical Realations, Church of Christ in Thailand. All together 74 Naga missionaries from seven countries and 14 delegates from Nagaland attended the programme. NMM said “it was a time of sharing experiences and challenges and also a time of recharging and strengthening our relationship with home churches and missionaries.” While thanking God for the grand success of the summit, the NMM also expressed gratitude to all the donors, both individuals and churches and prayer partners who sacrifice their time, energy and finance for the success of the summit.
