Naga lad wins Strandberg guitar contest

Young guitarist Arenlong Longkumer from Nagaland has been declared the winner of ‘The Strandberg India Guitar Contest’ and has won the Strandberg Boden Standard Trem 6 Bengal Burst guitar worth INR 1, 78,500. The competition concluded on May 21.

Longkumer won with a response percent of 25.90 percent with a response count of 2802. Longkumer was also part of a band called ‘Infuse.’

Out of all the entries, five finalists were selected and the winners were selected through Facebook polls at the end of the competition.

Speaking to Eastern Mirror, Aren Longkumer informed that he never thought of winning the competition but he thought ‘let me give it a try since there is no harm, in trying.’
