Naga lad selected for Asian World Championship

EMN Dimapur, March 3 K. Obed Khiamiungan has been selected from Nagaland to represent Asian world championship Taekwondo-D under 51-57 kg category which is going to be held from April 18 to 23 at Kathmandu, Nepal. Obed, son of Khuming Khiamniungan hailing from Sanglao village is presently a BA student at Tetso College Dimapur.According to the official Taekwondo institute, Chumukedima informed that K.Obed will be leaving for Delhi in March 1st week for special coaching for a month at Taekwondo Association of India head quarter Delhi. He has received more than 40 silver and gold medals. Obed, who is a humble and God fearing person received certificate of Best Fighter (BF) and was selected to represent Asian World Championship from Bangolar 2013 December, which was organized by the Taekwondo-do Association of India.
