Naga lad releases gospel debut 'running back'

Dimapur, July 22 (EMN): A Dimapur based singer John Kent released his gospel debut single “Running Back” on YouTube on July 22.

An update issued on July 22 informed that the song was co-written by Kent and his brother Azeu. The song talks about a sinner’s lone journey to Christ, and about hope for those who are losing track in their lives. 

Kent who is said to have completed his master degree in History from Jamia Millia Islamia University, New Delhi, is currently pursuing his Master of Divinity at Oriental Theological Seminary (OTS), Bade.

With his zeal for music since childhood, he said, “my interest in music has been growing, although I’m getting older day by day. Music is not my profession, but I love singing and compose songs…Nevertheless, I’m just a learner”.

He doesn’t believe that one has to be young in order to make it.
