Naga Hoho resolves to appeal warring NPF factions to reconcile

The Naga Hoho has resolved to appeal the Governor for his intervention into the present political quagmire and also to appeal the warring NPF factions for reconciliation. The Naga Ho under its aegis convened a consultative meeting on Monday in Kohima, pertaining to the present political crisis of Nagaland state which was attended by various civil societies namely the Naga Students’ Federation, the Naga Mothers’ Association, and the Nagaland GB Federation.
After a thorough deliberation with the ongoing political crisis, the members highlighted the pleas of the common people wherein the entire mass has been affected. The meeting drew a conclusion with the resolutions.
The participants of the meeting unanimously agreed to appeal and seek the intervention of the Governor of Nagaland to resolve the present political crisis of the state at the earliest.
The Naga civil societies make a fervent appeal to both the Dr. Shurhozelie and Shri. Noke led NPF groups to reconcile and resume their works for which, primarily the electorates have send them to the assembly, it added.
“The Naga people witnessing such a political scenario at this juncture is uncalled for, and any unwanted eventuality arising out of this crisis, the Naga people will make both the parties held responsible,” the Naga Hoho press communique cautioned.
