Naga Hoho adopts 3-point resolution in plenary session

THE Naga people today reaffirmed to live as one people and one nation while recommitting themselves to support and strengthen the Naga Hoho.
Adopting a three-point resolution on the concluding day of the 10th Naga Hoho general session at Wokha, the 19 constituent tribal hohos out of the 22 attending the two-day session in Wokha reaffirmed “to live as one people and one nation”.It also resolved to urge for early settlement of the protracted Naga issue which should be honourable and acceptable to the Naga people.
Further the tribal hohos decided to recommit themselves to support and strengthen the Naga Hoho.
Meanwhile, P. Chuba Ozükum and Mutsikhoyo Yhobu have been elected to lead to the new team of Naga Hoho as the president and general secretary for the tenure 2013-18.
The declaration was made by Convenor Search/Nomination Committee of the Naga Hoho, Sovenyi on the concluding day of the 10th general session of Naga Hoho at Wokha today.
Other official include: vice president HK Zhimomi, secretaries – John Himba & Chitho Nyusou, secretary culture & customary affairs – Mhonchumo Lotha, finance secretary – Rüunguto Sechü, secretary information & publicity – C. Daipao.
Naga Hoho Assembly Speaker – Medoselhou Keretsü, Deputy Speaker – Kenyusen Tep and Secretary – K. Elu Ndang.
