Dimapur, Feb 27: Nsong Area Frontal Organisation (NAFO) has taken strong exception on the presence of hunting parties from outside the area during the dry season.
NAFO has banned exploitation of flora and fauna in the form of hunting and fishing in Nsong area for preservation of ecological balance. Nsong area is home to the revered Hornbill during this migratory season which is the pride of all Nagas. NAFO, in a press release issued by its president Kalak Pame, warned to all that strict action will be taken against defaulters. It said belongings of the defaulters will be seized and also impose a penalty of Rs 20000.
